You’ve likely seen the commercials with that sassy English lady speaking in a very classy manner about the unsavory topic of bathroom duties…err..dooties (with plenty of poop jokes to go around). The stuff works, no question about it. But rather than spending your hard earned money on something you’ll literally flush down the toilet, why not make your own DIY Poo Pourri Bathroom Spray!
DIY Poo Pourri Ingredients
- 20 – 30 drops of food coloring (blue or green is best)
- 3 tbsp Vegetable Glycerin
- 2 tbsp Rubbing Alcohol
- 40 drops Essential Oils
- 1/2 cup Water
- Small Spray Bottle
How To Make DIY Poo Pourri
Mix all liquid ingredients together in the spray bottle (you might find it easier to use a funnel to get this done). Shake the bottle well right before you use it—remember, you have to mix the oil with the water. Spritz the DIY Poo Pourri about 10 times on top of the toilet bowl water for full coverage.
How Poo Spray works
The product creates an oily, scented barrier, that floats on top of the toilet bowl water. The food colouring just helps you identify if the product has full coverage. The oily barries traps your “deposit” underneath, including all of the unpleasant odours. Spray, flush, and move on—no one’s going to know what happened in there!
This is great to leave at the office, in the family bathroom or to take with you to a party.
