That’s an excellent point you made about putting the toilet brush away wet. Especially if you’re submerging it in water, even with cleaner, it will eventually grow smelly or harmful bacteria. Dangerous bacterias love wet places. Giving them time to grow is what leads to nasty smells.

Hi, Melissa! I just found your page and love it! I have problems with my brushed stainless steel appliances. (Attaching pics for you didn’t work.) Dishwasher has water drips going down the front. Fridge has water drips and what looks like Bigfoot’s hand print. (No one claims responsibility. 🙂 My micro and oven have fingerprints and, possibly even grease. (Hubby is a messy cook. 🙁 I’ve used 2 different SS cleaners to no avail. A friend said to use extra virgin olive oil on the spots. But do I really want to use it on an entire appliance? I thought these things were fingerprint-proof or, at least, fingerprint resistant. Boy, was I fooled.

My shower is getting an overhaul. My ceramic soap dish is in great condition, but it has caked soap all over it. Any suggestions on the quickest, easiest way to get it looking like new? I’ve searched online, but I haven’t found any answers. Thank you in advance.
