What can substitute Vinegar with? My husband always complains when I use vinegar.😅
Hi Maggie! Unfortunately, vinegar is one of the absolute best ingredients I’ve found for DIY cleaners. If your husband doesn’t like the smell of vinegar, I have a great article called Hate the Smell of Vinegar, Here’s How to Mask It.
Thank you! I was looking for just this recipe. I should have come here first! Silly me.
I’ve only used store bought laminate cleaners and I have the haze. Your site gives a recipe that includes vinegar and alcohol. Are you aware that manufacturers of laminate floors say that these products can destroy the finish of laminate floors?
Mary, I’ve used this recipe for a few years and my floors look great. Many flooring manufacturers also make laminate floor cleaners as well, so of course they don’t want you to make your own cleaner. They want you to buy theirs.
What mop do you recommend for using with this laminate recipe?
I’m planning on using my Swiffer Sweeper Dry Mop with the replaceable cloths. I used it before with a Scented Vinegars and Water mixture and it worked great.
I watched your video a few months ago where you visited the laminate floor factory in Pennsylvania. On that video it seemed that you recommended only using store-bought, specifically formulated laminate floor cleaner. Just wondering what changed your mind and if you’ve tried this recipe? Thanks! Also, your videos are so well done and contain so much great information!
